EPDM rubber gaskets are flexible elastomeric sealing components designed for applications requiring excellent resistance to weathering, heat, water, steam, and environmental aging. Manufactured from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber, these gaskets are widely used for sealing in indoor and outdoor environments where long-term durability and stable elasticity are essential. EPDM rubber gaskets offer outstanding resistance to UV radiation, ozone, rain, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring reliable performance even under prolonged exposure to sunlight and harsh climatic conditions. They maintain good compression recovery, low compression set, and consistent sealing pressure, making them suitable for static sealing applications. EPDM rubber gaskets are commonly used in doors and windows, glazing systems, HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, water pipelines, roofing systems, automotive body sealing, and general industrial assemblies. Available in various shapes such as flat gaskets, cut gaskets, and custom-designed profiles, EPDM rubber gaskets can be produced in different thicknesses, hardness grades, and dimensions to meet specific sealing and installation requirements. Typical service temperature ranges from approximately –40 °C to +120 °C, depending on compound formulation. Due to their excellent weather resistance, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, EPDM rubber gaskets are a dependable solution for sealing applications where oil and fuel resistance is not a primary requirement.
